Animal Rescue, Inc. has dozens of feral “working” cats ready for your farm or plot of land!

If you have a barn, detached building or the like, you should have one or two feral kitties for your homestead. Feral cats provide mouse control – in fact, their presence alone keeps those mice away!

Those who are interested in adopting a working cat should be able to provide fresh food and water daily, and a safe shelter. Those who are interested should be willing to keep the cat(s) in a large cage for two weeks while they acclimate to their surroundings.

All of our working cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for parasites. Please note that these cats may become tame overtime but are typically weary of their human counterparts. We do not adopt friendly kitties to the outside as they would prefer an indoor only home.

The cost of a feral kitty is donation only. We typically can allow you to choose cats by gender, but not other distinguishing characteristics such as color.

If you’re interested in adopting a feral kitty or two, please call Ashley at 717-993-3232x223!
