PEDIGREE Foundation Awards Grant for Animal Rescue, Inc.’s Senior Dog Rescue Program

Animal Rescue, Inc. gratefully acknowledges the $9,792.00 Program Development Grant awarded to our Senior Dog Rescue Program by the PEDIGREE Foundation. Last year, Animal Rescue, Inc.’s Senior Dog Rescue Program aided 51 older dogs age seven and over. The PEDIGREE Foundation grant will make it possible for us to expand our program this year to aid an additional nine dogs, making our new project goal 60 senior dogs. The PEDIGREE Foundation grant will be used to provide the nine additional dogs with dentals, spay/neuter surgeries, medical baths, and microchipping as well as a variety of routine and emergency veterinary care.

About the PEDIGREE® Foundation
Formed in 2008 by the makers of PEDIGREE® food for dogs, the PEDIGREE® Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping dogs in need find loving homes by supporting the good work of shelters and dog rescue organizations throughout the country. Through no fault of their own, more than four million dogs end up in shelters and rescue organizations every year, and nearly half of them never find a place to call home.
